The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields seeks a full-time Conservation Technician, to join a multi-discipline team in care of a superb collection spanning 5,000 years of history. The Conservation Technician supports the activities of the conservators and the general operation of the Conservation Department towards the care and preservation of the art and artifacts held by Newfields.

The Preservation Lab, a partnership to preserve and conserve the collections of the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library and the University of Cincinnati Libraries, seeks applicants for a Conservation Assistant position. The Conservation Assistant is a technician level position with on-the-job training that may appeal to emerging conservation professionals. This position will join a collaborative team of 7 full-time staff members, including conservators, a preservation librarian, technicians, student workers and volunteers to preserve collections from both institutions.

The Gerald R. Ford Conservation Center is looking for a dynamic conservator to run its paintings conservation lab. As the leader of the painting's conservation lab, the conservator will treat works from a broad range of public and private clients throughout the region. The conservator will examine paintings, prepare treatment proposals - including time and cost estimates - and conserve artifacts and collections. The conservator will provide preservation expertise and outreach, participate in the Center's educational activities, and supervise technicians, interns and volunteers on painting conservation projects.
